Description

VHF transmitting triode, all glass construction with external folded anode. The tube requires forced water cooling. 20KW anode power dissipation. It can be used as amplifier or oscillator up to 20MHz at full ratings and up to 100MHz at reduced anode voltage.

GE proprietary code for 880. The GL-880 was advertised since 1939, well before it was registered as 880.
