Description |
Lighthouse tube. First 'soldered-can' cathode, superseeded by 2C40. GL-446A was intended as RF amplifier in radar receivers. Noise figure as low as 10 dB at 1.0 GHz, versus 23 dB of other UHF tubes, like 368A.
