Description |
Anode voltage 1000, grid voltage +10
Gas-mercury triode thyratron with a positive control characteristic. This offers the advantage of a tube that will operate only with a positive voltage on the grid. It is ideally suited for applications which require that no current flows in the absence of grid excitation.
Made by GE, Hytron, Philips, Westinghouse; also produced in Italy by Fivre.
Registered by GE as 5720 and marketed as GL5720.
