HB100 is the Haydu proprietary code for the first beam switching tube made in series. It is a high speed counter with counting speed up to 2 MHz. Magnetic beam switching tubes are exotic hard vacuum decimal counting devices used in high speed applications through the late 1950's and 1960's. The magnetic beam switching tubes (and the Nixie tubes!) were introduced by Haydu Brothers in progress to be owned by Burroughs.
H-B 100, renamed by Burroughs as MO-10, was registered to Haydu Brothers in June 1955 as 6700.
Operating principle of trochotron.
