Description |
This tube is a cold cathode type invented by Dr august Hund of the Wired Radio Co of New York. The element consists of a tubular anode mounted vertically and containing other elements. It was claimed to be a "filamentless" triode and was able to do everything a three elemebt tube could do - amplify, rectify and oscillate. No patent for this tunbe has been located andapparently the tube was not offered commercially. This tube adopted a tubular "T14" bulb which was about 75 mm high.
