Valvo schreibt zur L415D (sinngemäß):
Im Jahr 1928 leitete Valvo mit der ersten Endpentode in Deutschland, die L415D, einen neuen Abschnitt in der Röhrentechnik ein.
Mit der L415D wurde der entscheidende Schritt zu höherer Verstärkung und besserem Wirkungsgrad für Endstufen getan; man konnte bei Verwendung einer Pentode, die mit kleinen Steuerspannungen auskam, eine von den beiden damals allgemein üblichen NF-Verstärkerröhren einsparen. [JR]
