Descripción

This tube is most probably one of the mentioned triodes in the book "Tube Lore" by Ludwell Sibley, page 13. It might be either the Lestron 1024 or the Lestron 1048.

Height overall - 14.3 cm.
Bulb diameter - 5.4 cm.
Shelf extension - 1.4 cm.
Filament pin to pin center - 2.2 cm.

According to the "Rdio Trade Directory", August 1925, Lestein Corp. of America uses the brand Lestron for early AC tubes heated by 110 Volts. According to "TubeLore, page 13, Lestein Corp. re-announced this in "Electrtonics" in Dec. 1930 and in "Radio Craft", April 1931.

The book "Tube Lore" by Ludwell Sibley mentiones the tubes 1012 as Receiving Triode, intended to replace UX112, having 500 mW output, the tube type 1048 as Power Triode for 2.9 W output and an unknown Full-Wave Rectifier. They are supposed to have dual heaters wound so as to minimize hum, and UY bases. Plans included 32- and 220-V variants and a tetrode.
