Description |
|
Single-cavity interdigital magnetron. Twelve segments form the internal side of the anode doughnut resonating cavity. Due to the presence of the high Q single cavity integrated with the segments, this anode design granted the very high spectrum purity required, otherwise not possible with multi-cavity structures. The two side walls of the cavity were connected to the external line from the base. This 'Turbator' was intended to operate at fixed frequency in diathermy apparatus and low-power industrial heating.
- 1750 MHz output frequency
- 200 W anode power dissipation, 100 W CW output
- 2.2 to 2.5 kV anode voltage
- 100 mA anode current
- 1450 oersted magnetic field
