Description |
This tube was made in limited quantities as an external grid power triode for an early horn speaker manufacturer (name unknown) in 1920. Because of the rather high filament voltage generating some heat, the tube was not a success and production was stopped. The tube was smilar to the conventional Moorhead external grid tube but on a larger scale. The anode is a disc with a wire lead from the top of the tube and the grid has flanges at the end which are bolted together. The grid connectuion lead is attached to one of these bolts.
