Description |
Tube specially designed for use in the Sonatron modular three tube resistance coupled amplifier. The tube had a red lacquered bulb (and in some cases, the lacquer scratched off). The tube has an amplificartion factor of 32 and will give maximum performance when used in combination with any of the other tubes in the series, as a first or second stage tube. A tube has recently been found which has the red lacquered glass but no Sonatron label. It is possible it is a Sonatron but made as a special order,.
