Description |
There is little evidence that this valve was actually built. The National Physical Laboratory at Teddington (NPL) certainly carried out experiments on thermionics and it is possible that Stanley's description in 1919 refers to such an experimental valve. Tyne suggests that it could be a reference to the White valve.
