Description |
Developed in the early eighties by National Semiconductor as 32-bit single-chip CPU. Its advanced architecture was inspired to that of VAX-11.
- 32 bit internal architecture
- 24 bit external address bus
- 16 bit external data bus
- 48 pin ceramic DIP package
- High-speed X-MOS technology, 6 or 8 MHz clock frequency
- 5 VDC supply
16032 was replaced in 1984 by the 32032, similar architecture but 32-bit data bus.
