Descripción

Silica envelope power tetrode.
Developed by the Signal School, this tetrode was available since December 1937. Tungsten filament, grids were not aligned. One NT60, driven by two NT57s, was used in MB2 developed by MetVick in 1939 and manufactured from early 1940.

According to the book "The Saga of Marconi Osram Valve", page 256, this tube was designed by the Admiraty (in colaboration with the Hirst Research Centre of GEC).
