In Electron, the Dutch VERON magazine, issue oct.1951, I found a small article about new Philips crystal-diodes, similair to some well known American types. The Sylvania types have somewhat higher maxima.
OA50(1N34A), OA51(1N54A), OA52(1N57A), OA53(1N58A).
The OA50 type is usable at frequencies up to about 60 MHz.
These diodes are marked with two colored bands to indicate the type; e.g. green and black = OA50, green and brown = OA51.
Furher data on these diodes can be found at the page on model OA51 under data+characteristic.
Jan Terranea.
