Description |
This tube is one of the "Orpheus" series
It was built using the patented design of Cyril Holt, GB201250. Application 1922, granted 1924
A copy of the Patent can be found as a pdf at the foot of this page.
The patent design uses a single-sheet, folded vertical, open-sided U for the anode.
The grid is of similat construction using perforated metal or mesh.
In an example of this valve the grid uses metal with rectangular holes.
An example carries a paper label with the type "P2.4" rather than "P2"
