Description |
Tube designed by Mikhail Alexandrovich Bontsch-Brujewitsch. He studied the design of the French TM tube and developed a similar style tube. The main difference was that the anode was a sheet of aluminium. This was necessary as normal metals used in anodes was not available at the time. According to Tyne, the tube was perfected towards the end of 1919.
