Description |
Orbital-beam hexode electron-multiplier VHF amplifier (secondary emission). This appears to be a very early prototype of the 1630 VHF amplifier. Giant acorn body, with 12 equally spaced radial pins.
The code is written by hand, with the date, Aug. 15,'39, and with a series of numbers, 15/4.7 - 16.
This sample comes with its lab built socket and bottom copper shield.
