Improved type R with longer working life. First made with a spherical bulb but later versions had a tapered glass bulb.
"Suitable Anode Volts 30-120" Data on box.
Manufacturer data states 60-120V as LF amplifier, 30-50V as HF amplifier and detector. Amplification factor of 9. Successor to RZ.
