Aus Radiokatalog Band 2: Die RE84 (OCF14) und RE86 (OCF10) baut Siemens & Halske ab 1924, die das Oxydverfahren besser in den Griff bekommt. Der Artikel «Werdegang einer Verstärkerröhre» in [102503] zeigt auf, wie kompliziert das Oxydverfahren Anfang 1925 zu handhaben ist. Zudem: Die Fabrikation einer Röhre teilt man in ca. 50 Teiloperationen auf, um zu einer rationellen Fertigung zu gelangen.
