Description

This tube was made by Philips in the early 1920's. It was one of at least 4 rectifiers used exclusivly by Hengelosche Electrical and Mechanical Apparatus Factory (HEEMAF). The orange coloring is a heavy layer of phosphorus. This has been seen on two other tubes of this size. Other types have clear glass. There has been some conjecture as to who made this tube but the word PHILIPS just can be seen on the side of the tube. Other printing is there but not readable. Also, it is not known if the tubewas given a type number. The bases on this tube are B22 single contact.
