Description

VHF external-anode power triode, forced-air-cooled. Thoriated-tungsten folament. Factory installed finned radiator. Likely made by Toshiba to be used as pulsed oscillator in the Tachi No.7 radar set, generating 50 kW peak pukses at 100 MHz.

  • 10 kV peak anode voltage
  • 6.5 mA mean current
  • 750 W max anode dissipation
  • 120 MHz max operating frequency.
  • 50 kW typical pulse power at 100 MHz.

Development started in October 1942. Prototypes completed in April 1943.
