Description |
Used in the "Oscillion S", a panel holding the Audion and fitted with controls and terminals. Oscillion was chosen for Audions able to oscillate. de Forest also used three of these tubes in a very early version of an electronic organ. The tube illustrated has the Screw part of the E12 base unfortunately broken off. Later versions of the tube were fitted with a standard 4 pin "UV" base.
