Description |
Ceramic, stacked-mount equivalent for 6J6. Designed by Sylvania under a contract with the U.S. Bureau of Ships to eliminate heat sensitive mica insulators and glass envelopes. It was the forerunner of the glass types 7244 and 7245, which retained the internal stacked structure, with planar electrodes and ceramic spacers inside a miniature glass bulb.
