Description |
Development (based on the DeForest Audion) initiated 1914, of a Triode having a cylindrical, single side supported system. Patented 1915. Design and introduction of the later common European 4pin socket B4. Manufactured by Grammont (Fotos), soon also by Metal. More than 100.000 produced during WW1.

L'etude historique la plus complète concernant la lampe TM a été publiée sous le titre ci-dessus dans la revue "LA LIAISON DES TRANSMISSIONS" n° 126 de Novembre - Décembre 1980 en tant que fascicule spécial de 48 pages à l'intérieur de la revue. L'auteur de ce document très complet est Robert CHAMPEIX. Ce document en français se trouve numérisé sur internet.
