Description |
This tube was made by the Westinghouse company and RCA received the first consignment of these in April 1922. The tube differed electrically from the GE UV201 and also in construction. It has a cylindrical element structure and this could well be from old stock of Moorhead Laboratories, which was purchased by Westinghouse when Moorhead closed earlier that year. This tube is also fitted with a Shaw UV base, also from Moorhead, which was extra stock. The tube was also known by its Westinghouse "style number" 319551.
