Description |
Work started on development of this tube at the G E Laboratories in the Spring of 1920. and the type number was assigned to it in November 1920. It was announced in March 1921 and the type number UV202 was registered by RCA as a radio trade markwith the US Government on 6th June 1922, being allocated no 155804. The tube was also branded Cunningham C302 and it was also made by a very few other tube manufacturers.
