Descrizione

This tube was developed at the G E laboratories in the spring of 1920 and the type number was assigned to it in November 1920. It was announced to the public in march 1921. Plate: 2000 V, 250 mA. Output 250 Watts. Amplification constant = 25.
Price in 1922: $ 110.-.
Middle part of the bulb is spherical, dia.5". later 204s have cylindrical glass.
Base-Special End Mountings: UT-501 and UT-502.
Error in Tyne, p.327: Fig.16-23 shows a single ended tube, not a UV204!
