Description

Work on this tube started at the GE laboratories in the fall of 1920 and the type number was assigned to it in June 1921. No mention is made of the announcement date but the tube was available also in 1921. It was not announced as psrt of the general RCA tube line but was available as a "renewal" type as of 1934.
