Description

Work on this tube started at the G E laboratories in March 1919 and the type number was assigned to it in August 1922. It was available the following year. This was a water cooled tube and the water jacket type number was UT-1285. Peak inverse voltage was 50,000 max. volts and peak plate current 7.5 max amps. It was not announced as part of the RCA general tube line. Discontinued by RCA in 1946. The tube was similar to the UV207 but without the grid.
