Description

Work started on development of this tube at the GE laboratories in the spring of 1921 and the type numbr was assigned to it as was its release, the same year. Being a rectifier tube, GE gave ithis tube the brand name Kenotron. I is a t gridless UV-206 transmitting rectifier. The tube was only for renewal use by 1934 and was discontinued by RCA in 1951.
