Description |
Work started on development of this tube at the GE laboratories in the Spring of 1922 and it was assigned the type number the same year. It was released to the public in1924. Being a rectifier tube, GE gave this tube the brand name Kenotron. it was a gridless UV208 and was for rnewal use by 1934. It was discontinued by RCA in 1950.
