Description |
Originally made with the T9 (30 mm diameter) glass bulb, this tube was made from early 1931 with the S12 bulb (38 mm diameter) and generally branded type 31 only. A year later the bulb size was changed to ST12. the weight increased by 2 grams. Most US manufacturers still making the tube adopted the changes as a natural progression.
