Description |
Work on this tube began at the GE laboratories in 1923. It was given the type number late in 1926. Announced in February 1927, Tyne page 317. This tube had an amplification factor of 30 - four times that of the UX201A. It was specifically designed for resistance-capacitance coupled amplification. A 250000 ohm coupling resistor was used in the anode circuit.
