Description |
Project coding for 102 series. The first experimental V tubes were made about the middle of 1914, and the first commercial product appeared early in 1915. The code designation 102A Telephone Repeater Element was assigned to this tube in 1916. Other code designation for the 102A repeater bulb, for higher "voltage" amplification. But also higher output impedance, which required an L tube as second (power) stage.
