Description |
Siemens & Halske's earliest developments were based on the results attained with some special double-grid tubes which had been evolved during World War I. The triode VS27 was the progenitor of the tubes development for telephone use in the postwar era. The intricate glass structure used to position and support the electrode system in this tube is a tribute to German glassworkers. It provides the ultimate in stable electrode systems.
