Descripción

According to Sibley, VT-11 was the General Electric equivalent of the WE VT-1, interchangeable with it.
First made by GE for the US signal Corps after an order from them for 80,000 tubes in January 1918.
The tube is designed for detector, amplifier and oscillator use in heterodyne circuits. The anode is an inverted nickel "cup" 1/4 inch diameter and 5/16ths inch high.
