Power demountable tetrode introduced by GEC to replace the NT60 silica valve in high-power radar transmitters. Used in the MetVick CH radar transmitters among the others.

- 28kV plate voltage
- Thoriated tungsten filament giving 70A min emission under pulsed operation
- About 400 kW peak power from a pair driven by NT57
- 60MHz max frequency
- Full production from 1940
