| Description |
Developed in 1938 at GEC by L. le Rossignol, it derived from the ACT10 CAT transmitting triode. It was the first external anode British tube intended for radar transmitters.
Used from 1938 in the 200 MHz transmitter of the CHL system and then in the MB2 ground radar and in the GL1 and GL2 gun laying sets.
- 750 W anode dissipation, with forced-air cooling
- 23 kV anode voltage
- 100 MHz full ratings operating frequency, up to 250 MHz at reduced ratings
