Descripción

The first metal detector or "Westector" developed by Westinghouse.

Contemporary advertising data gives a rating as 24V peak and 0.25mA "output current" (WW March 17, 1933)

The detector uses discs of Copper treated on one side to form a copper oxide film. These discs were stacked to obtain the required voltage rating.
