Description |
Was designed as a ballast tube for the WR21 in the radio Aeriola Grand. It was necessary for this tube to insure that the rated filament current was not exceeded when power was supplied from a 6 volt storage battery. It is fitted with a B4 base but has only the filament pins. The tube had either horizontal or vertical filament structures. Each WR21 tube in the set had a WB800 ballast tube. It was discontinued in September 1922..
