Description |
This tube corresponds to the EBF2 except the heater ratings 4 V 0.3 A, hence it should actually called as ABF2.
On one side the tube is imprinted as Philips Miniwatt WE37F.
On the back side a label of Philips Italia is attached. If one removes this label, an original- Philips imprinting “ABF1” will be visible, which was probably later rejected.
However, some specimens were subsequently additionally again stamped as ABF1, below the designation WE37F.
This tube was apparently intended as a replacement of the previous (original) WE37F, although there are remarkable differences.
