Description |
Aeriola WR21A. Initially for the Westinghouse DR (1921). Later for the Aeriola Grand receiver of July 1922. The only known Radiola Grand can be seen in the Ford Museum (Douglas). The manufacturing of this tube was discontinued already in September 1922. Needs a ballast tube WB800. Two versions existed: The WR21A (for Amplifier) clear glass tip, and the WR21D (for Detector) with green lacquer tip.
This tube is fitted with a base made by the Shaw Insulator Company and was surplus stock when the Westinghouse company bought Moorhead Laboratories inventory in 1920
