Description

A triode had two intermeshed grids equally spaced from the single cathode and the plate. Used as a full wave detector (am) with additional LF-amplification.
It was made only with a 6 pin base with no cap. The original announcement in the press (July 1932) made at the same time as the 2.5 volt version, mentioned both 5 and 6-pin types.
