Description |
The Full-Wave Cold-cathode-rectifier Z80 from Schickerling, also called "Corona" is similar to Raytheon BH. Both were developed for use in B battery eliminators for radio receivers - but the anode structure is different. It handles high peak currents of 80 to 90 Ma output - but needs proper elimination of RF noise by proper shielding and filtering. See also the "Telefunken" RGN1500 in Germany.
