Filament Vf 6 Volts / If 17.5 Ampere / Direct
Description CW magnetron designed for radar jammers. 12-vane anode with L and C tuning rings operated by a bellow tuning mechanism, waveguide output, thoriated tungsten bifilar helical cathode. 2720 to 3150MHz, 1000W max plate dissipation, liquid cooling required.
Typical operating conditions: 2400 to 3200 gauss, 5KV at 0.30A anode, 780 to 980W RF output. Filament voltage reduced to 4.3V when magnetron oscillates.
This is the GE developmental code for the 6J21.
