Special changes in 2023

• At the beginning of 2023, the digitized Funkgeschichten der GFGF were made publicly accessible on Radiomuseum.org. Special thanks to Heinz Stummer and Ingo Pötschke.
• Cohiradia has continued to grow under the leadership of Hermann Scharfetter. More than 60 recordings (> 600 GB) are now available.
• Further model types (e.g. household appliances) can be created. Administrators are still being sought for this. 
• Jerry Elarton has started a YouTube-Channel with how-to videos.

Email-Accounts

It was only thanks to a very active team (Dave Erali, Jerry Erlaton, Gerald Lippert, Heribert Jung, Miguel Bravo, Patrice Zeissloff, Alessandro De Poi, ...) that the many emails from members and guests could be answered.

8,594 new models created in 2023

The following chart shows the development of the number of new models over the last 5 years.

The table shows the 20 members who created the most new models last year.

 

67,524 Model completions and improvements in 2023

67,524 changes were made to our models. The following members were the most active.

 

Most active model administrators in 2023

Jedes neue Modell und jede Veränderung wird von Modelladministratoren geprüft und freigeschaltet. Die folgenden Modelladmins waren am aktivsten.

 

68,129 new model images

Over the course of the year, 68,129 new model images were uploaded. The following members were particularly active. More than every fourth model picture came from Franz Scharner. All model pictures are checked by picture administrators. More than 95% of the images were activated by Heiko zur Mühle (75%) and Karlheinz Gützlaff (21%). 

 

55,607 new circuit diagrams

A total of 55,607 new circuit diagrams were uploaded in 2023. More than half of these schematics were uploaded by Dirk Taekels and Ed Riley. The following list shows the most active schematic uploaders.

In 2023, more than 200,000 circuit diagrams were distributed to guests free of charge. Members have downloaded more than 225,000 circuit diagrams. In total, our collection consists of over 1,038,000 circuit diagrams.

3289 new collector's prices for models

We have seen a further sharp decline here. A good 30% fewer prices were uploaded in 2023 than in 2022, and the decline compared to 2021 is even more than 50%. Who is helping to upload more collector's prizes?

10'988 more pictures

This category includes all pictures (e.g. tubes, companies, museums, ...) without model pictures.  The following list shows the most active members.

 

709 new Members

We welcomed 709 new members in 2023. Over the course of the year, 6936 different members from 99 different countries signed up. Both figures are slightly lower than in the previous year.
