The rogers 6B7M is a 8 pin octal (K8A) based tube, all Rogers "M series" tubes are a K8A base even if the original designation type such as the 6B7 was not. See Rogers tube data sheet on our web site; pacifictv.ca (item URL below).

Dear John,
according to Sibley, some of the Rogers ‘M’ types were standard existing tubes rebased as alternate solution to the new RCA metal tubes. It is interesting to read that the sprayed conductive layer over the glass bulbs was covered with black paint to better resemble the look of the metal tubes.
Here is the complete list from ‘Tube Lore’, Supplement 3, of ‘M’ tubes, all with octal base as the 6F7M:

Hello Emilio,
Thank you, great information to help with some of the confusion with the Rogers "M series" tubes. What was not mentioned there is Rogers also produced the same "M series" tubes with different size grid caps which added more to the confusion. I have just up loaded two pictures of the Rogers 6K7M, one with a miniature grid cap and the other with a small grid cap.
thank you again,
John
