saba: Alignment question - Freiburg 9

Here is my translation of the alignment instructions for the ratio detector:

Intermediate Frequency Adjustment 10.7 MHz 2-channel filter of the ratio-detector

1. Disconnect the filter by turning K 601/603 to the left
2. Primary channel, adjust L 601 at maximum
3. Secondary channel set L 603 in the straight-line part of the curve with a zero-flow

This is clear enogh, but does K601/603 then have to be "connected" agin for maximum signal? Surely it canot be left "disconnected"?

Ok - I have now figured this one out too - there are errors in the guide.

Please see the red boxes on the attchment. 

10.4MHz should of course be 10.7MHz

K501/503 should be K601/603.

Then it makes sense. I hope this helps others.
