Calrad - We need your help
Dear radio collector friends,
on the well known internet auction platform you will find a various volume of (Xtal-)radios, microphones, speakers and other electronic parts labeled with "Calrad".
- At present we have already listed the ~1920ies company "California Radio ...".
- Also you will find "Calrad" on AF amps from the 1950/60ies made by "California .....& Electronics .....".
- A 1960 "Calrad" transistor radio was sold by Burstein-Applebee.
- Gadgetradios are offered sometimes too
- Then we find a lot of "Calrad Japan" products....
- And present there is a Calrad electronic company activ in business
What could we do to list "Calrad" products in the right way here on RM.org?
Thanks for your help in advance.

The website www.calrad.com/about.shtml states that the company was established in Los Angeles, California in the early 1950's as "Calrad Electronics". It goes on to say:
"Some manufacturing was done in the U.S. and eventually made it's way off shore to Japan and to Taiwan and as today market trends dictate in China. Most of Calrad's line of products are deigned and engineered here in the U.S.. "
So we can confidently say that the Calrad from the 20's has nothing to do with the more modern Calrad Electronics or with its japanese subsiadiary.
Perhaps someone else can contribute some facts on the "old" Calrad?
