I am currently working on the restoration of a KL-76 "Beam-a-Scope and have completed all the woodwork and finishing. The problem is its glass dial plate which is missing  (with the exception of a small fragment). The picture here is quite helpful except for not being able to discern the various, quite small printing in green. As may be seen, the lettering is blurred to the point that I cannot make it out. My hope is to secure a clear, high-resolution picture/photograph of the dial to be used to create a replica to complete the restoration. If I am overlooking something that may be found in the pictures on site, as my computer skills are not my strong set, perhaps someone could offer direction. Any suggestions as to obtaining the clear photo would likewise be greatly appreciated. Charlie

Hi Charlie,

It appears that the dial scale is identical to that of a JK-96. The bands and frequencies match, but it's possible that there may be a difference in physical size. I can take a hi-res picture of the dial scale on my JK-96, if you can't find the exact one for your KL-76.
